For Bookings made via the channels (OTAs) or the website booking engine, guests receive an email confirmation of their booking. For each, the hotel will receive a copy of the email confirmation as well.
Most channels will send the copy of the email confirmation to the hotel directly. For some channels like Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds, GTA, Reconline etc. the booking confirmations may be sent to the property through the channel manager. For these channels one can see the ‘Email Status’ against each booking, in the BOOKING tab.
For all bookings received through the Channel Manager, the Booking Details are captured in the BOOKING tab. These may be emailed to the property or printed out as required.
