New Feature – Instant – OTA promotion

OTA promotion feature allows a property to setup promotions on OTAs via Instant extranet. Currently this feature only supports booking.com.

This feature only supports NEW promotions created via Instant extranet. Currently there is no option to pull in existing promotions already created in booking.com to be manageable via Instant.

The below booking.com promotions are supported:


Where is the feature found?

• Login to Instant Extranet > Instant Module > OTA Promotion

How to add a NEW promotion?

OTA Promotion Module display page > click on Add Promotion button

Next: Add promotion name > select promotion type > click on Next button

Next: Select channel > Applicable room/ rate combination

  • Channel – Currently feature supports booking.com only
  • Room/ rate combination – Multiple selection supported

 

BASIC promotion requirements

Follow prompts and complete as required

  • Secret Deal: A minimum of 10% discount is required. Validation in place
  • Stay Dates: For promotion that is not applicable for all days, click on ‘Custom’ and apply applicable day(s) by clicking on radio button

  • Discount: Only % supported

 

Early Booker promotion requirements

Follow prompts and complete as required

  • Secret Deal: A minimum of 10% discount is required. Validation in place
  • Stay Dates: For promotion that is not applicable for all days, click on ‘Custom’ and apply applicable day(s) by clicking on radio button

  • Discount: Only % supported

 

Last Minute promotion requirements

  • Secret Deal: A minimum of 10% discount is required. Validation in place
  • Stay Dates: For promotion that is not applicable for all days, click on ‘Custom’ and apply applicable day(s) by clicking on radio button
  • Hours supported: Up to 24 hours only

  • Discount: Only % supported

 

Next: Additional Details – need to set/ apply for all promotion type

  • Set applicable cancellation policy

  • Set applicable payment type

 

Next: Click on SAVE to create promotion

When promotion is successfully created and submitted to booking.com, success message is returned with promotion ID

Booking.com returns a RUID reference for tracking purposes, this can be found on OTA Promotion details page via VIEW option. Click on RUID to see ID

 

OTA Promotion details page

  • All promotions created are listed on details page
  • Status: Filter option available to search promotions
  • View summary of promotion using the VIEW option
  • Option to ‘Edit’ live promotion
  • Option to ‘Delete’ promotion
  • Option to view stats for a promotion. Report is pulled from booking.com (Via View)

Click on ‘Report’ button to pull stats from booking.com. Information pulled as below:
